Fixed Wireless Planning & Performance Engineer

About the role

This position is responsible for defining and executing medium‑ and long‑term strategies for Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) and enterprise wireless solutions. The role designs end‑to‑end network architectures, conducts capacity planning, and ensures performance meets business and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop network architecture roadmaps aligned with growth, customer demand and technology evolution.
• Perform capacity planning and forecasting for radio, transmission and CPE equipment.
• Create High‑Level and Low‑Level Designs for RAN, microwave/millimeter‑wave backhaul, IP/MPLS transport and AAA systems.
• Lead Proof‑of‑Concepts, interoperability testing and validation of vendor solutions.
• Define KPIs, SLAs and monitoring dashboards; analyse performance data and drive optimisation.
• Provide L2/L3 technical support, troubleshoot complex radio and transport issues, and support major incident resolution.
• Coordinate project implementation from design through acceptance, managing vendors, project managers and operations teams.
• Ensure compliance with company standards, regulatory requirements and security policies.

Required profile

• Proven experience in planning, designing and operating Fixed Wireless or similar telecom networks.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to forecast capacity and assess network performance.
• Experience managing large‑scale projects and coordinating cross‑functional teams.
• Good understanding of regulatory and security standards in telecom environments.
