About the role

VectorOne is seeking a Founding Senior Applied AI Engineer to create a groundbreaking rules engine for explainable AI in high‑trust environments. You will lead the design and rapid delivery of an AI platform that reshapes the future office of the CFO across multiple industries.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with product leaders and subject‑matter experts to define AI‑driven product vision.
• Define architecture and technical standards for AI/ML systems across several ventures.
• Build and deploy explainable AI solutions using state machines and automated reasoning.
• Design production‑grade data pipelines with observability, monitoring, and robust testing.
• Establish elite‑performing teams and apply data‑driven metrics such as DORA.

Required profile

• Senior‑level experience in applied AI and machine‑learning engineering.
• Proven ability to deliver complex AI systems at high speed.
• Strong track record of building explainable, trustworthy AI solutions.
