Founding Senior Software Engineer - Team Lead

About the role

VectorOne is looking for a founding senior software engineer to lead the creation of a full‑stack engineering platform that powers every deployment. You will be responsible for shaping the technical foundation of a product aimed at modernising the office of the CFO across multiple industries.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and implement core application technologies aligned with business outcomes.
• Design and build a full‑stack application platform using a backend‑for‑frontend architecture (no micro‑services).
• Create design systems, code‑generation engines, and CI/CD pipelines that support the entire stack.
• Maintain a lean supply chain by minimizing external dependencies and building custom solutions where appropriate.
• Balance the use of AI coding tools with sustainable engineering practices.
• Advocate for frameworks and technologies that provide lasting competitive advantage.
