Freight Officer

About the role

We are looking for a Freight Officer to join our logistics team at UPS. The role involves providing administrative support to ensure smooth freight operations and effective communication across departments.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare reports using various software packages.
• Compile information from multiple sources for decision‑making.
• Manage small‑scale projects related to freight processes.
• Perform word processing, data entry, and document auditing.
• Answer phone calls, distribute mail, and reserve conference rooms.
• Coordinate meetings and handle other assigned office duties.
• Handle confidential material on a regular basis.

• Attention to detail and accuracy in handling documents.
• Ability to work with confidential information responsibly.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
