French‑Speaking Project Manager – Africa Region

About the role

The Project Manager will lead end‑to‑end delivery of terminal development and business‑application implementation projects across the Africa region. Reporting to the Regional Vice President, you will manage both greenfield and brownfield initiatives, ensuring operational readiness and alignment with DP World’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables and implementation plans aligned with business requirements.
• Develop and maintain comprehensive schedules, timelines, milestones and resource plans.
• Manage project risks, issues, assumptions, dependencies and change requests.
• Track progress, implement corrective actions and ensure projects stay on time and within budget.
• Prepare and present status reports, dashboards and updates to stakeholders and steering committees.
• Coordinate communication and collaboration across Operations, Engineering, IT, Procurement, Security, Finance and other cross‑functional teams.
• Lead governance activities, facilitate decision‑making and resolve issues promptly.
• Oversee user acceptance testing, training, change management and business‑readiness activities.
• Manage contractors, consultants, service providers and technology vendors to meet contractual obligations.
• Prioritise initiatives based on business value, operational readiness and strategic goals.
• Ensure compliance with DP World standards, health & safety, cybersecurity and legal requirements.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives to enhance delivery methodologies and operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
• Proven experience managing complex infrastructure or technology projects, preferably in a logistics or terminal environment.
• Fluent French communication skills, both written and spoken.
• Strong ability to work in a fast‑paced, multi‑project environment and balance competing priorities.
