Grants and Compliance Manager

About the role

The Grants and Compliance Manager will lead grant management and compliance for USAID‑funded projects in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, overseeing the full project lifecycle from start‑up through execution, monitoring and reporting. Reporting to the Country Director and receiving technical guidance from senior compliance staff in the United States, the role works closely with global grants, contracts and compliance teams to ensure alignment with organizational protocols and donor requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the MobileAid for IDPs project funded by BHA‑USAID and upcoming USAID‑funded projects.
• Provide comprehensive compliance support across finance, procurement, HR and operations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with global grants management, contracts and compliance teams to strengthen local policies, streamline processes and enhance systems.
• Ensure all activities meet organizational protocols and donor prerequisites.
• Report to the Country Director DRC and coordinate with the Senior Manager, Compliance and Grants Management in the US.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience in managing USAID‑funded grants or similar humanitarian funding.
• Ability to oversee compliance across finance, procurement, human resources and operational domains.
• Strong collaboration skills to work with global and local teams.
• Capacity to align project activities with donor requirements and organizational policies.
