Head of Programs – Goma

About the role

Première Urgence Internationale is seeking a Head of Programs to lead the implementation of its humanitarian projects in Goma and surrounding sites. Reporting to senior management, you will ensure that programmes are delivered effectively, on time, and in line with the organization’s standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise program teams across multiple operational bases.
• Oversee the implementation of health, nutrition, protection and MEAL activities, ensuring quality and compliance.
• Represent the organization with partners, authorities and local actors on all programmatic matters.
• Consolidate internal and external reporting, and submit comprehensive updates to your supervisor.
• Participate in strategic planning, propose new interventions based on field assessments, and adapt projects to evolving humanitarian contexts.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in project management, international development or a related field.
• Proven experience supervising national and international staff in a humanitarian or development setting.
• Strong ability to coordinate multi‑disciplinary teams and manage complex programmes.
• Excellent communication skills for representation and stakeholder engagement.
