Head of Sourcing

About the role

The Head of Sourcing will lead sourcing and procurement for operations in the Democratic Republic of Congo, ensuring reliable supply, competitive cost, appropriate quality and strong supplier performance. This senior position works closely with manufacturing, energy, finance and operations teams.

Key responsibilities

• Develop category and sourcing strategies aligned with operational requirements.
• Identify, evaluate, negotiate with and onboard capable local and regional suppliers.
• Manage contracts, commercial terms, cost‑reduction initiatives and supply risks.
• Track supplier delivery, quality, responsiveness and corrective actions.
• Partner with manufacturing, energy, finance and operations on demand and material planning.

Required profile

• 8+ years of sourcing, procurement or supply‑chain experience.
• Manufacturing, automotive, industrial, energy or infrastructure experience preferred.
• Strong negotiation, supplier‑development and analytical skills.
• Experience in real estate is a must.
