Human Resources Manager – Lead HR Strategy

About the role

The Human Resources Manager reports directly to the CEO and leads the HR function for FINCA DRC. The role is responsible for developing and executing HR strategy, ensuring compliance, and fostering a high‑performance culture.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR policies, procedures and strategic initiatives aligned with organisational goals.
• Oversee recruitment, selection, onboarding, performance management, compensation, benefits and employee relations.
• Manage HRIS data quality, payroll, benefits administration and ensure compliance with local labour laws.
• Design and run staff development, retention and variable pay programmes.
• Partner with senior leadership to provide HR counsel, resolve conflicts and support change management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, HRM or related field; postgraduate qualification preferred.
• 10+ years of HR experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial role within a large international organisation.
• Proven track record in talent acquisition, compensation, benefits and training in a competitive labour market.
• Fluency in English and ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

Required skills

• Proficiency with HRIS platforms.
• Advanced user of Microsoft Office.
