Information Management Officer (TA) – Nutrition Data

About the role

Under the supervision of the Nutrition Specialist, the Information Management Officer will lead the strategic use of nutrition data in Kinshasa. The role focuses on optimizing existing data systems, creating analytical dashboards, and turning raw data into actionable insights to support programming, resource allocation, and impact reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, organize, and validate nutrition data from multiple sources.
• Ensure data quality through rigorous quality‑control procedures.
• Analyze and synthesize data to produce actionable information products.
• Develop and maintain dashboards and visualisations for decision‑making support.
• Provide capacity‑building and technical assistance to partners and staff.
• Produce information‑management deliverables, including reports and GIS maps.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to align data initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in information management or a related field.
• Minimum two years of professional experience developing, implementing, maintaining, and evaluating information‑management systems.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
• Fluency in English and French; additional UN language is a plus.
• Previous experience in the Democratic Republic of the Congo or with a UN agency is advantageous.
