Infrastructure Coordinator – Professional

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking an Infrastructure Coordinator to support its mission in Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of the Congo. Reporting to the Chief of Mission and working closely with Project Managers, the REDISSE environmental specialist and the Procurement Officer, the incumbent will oversee the coordination of all infrastructure construction activities undertaken by the Mission.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor infrastructure construction projects in collaboration with contracted construction companies.
• Liaise with Project Managers, the environmental specialist of the REDISSE project and the Procurement Officer to ensure alignment with project objectives and procurement procedures.
• Facilitate communication between the Mission and external contractors, ensuring timely delivery of works.
• Support the preparation and review of project documentation, contracts and progress reports.
• Ensure compliance with IOM standards, UN regulations and local regulations throughout the construction lifecycle.

Required profile

• Professional experience in infrastructure coordination or construction project management.
• Ability to work in a multicultural environment and coordinate with multiple stakeholders.
• Strong organizational and reporting skills.
