Inventory Planner

About the role

The Inventory Planner will support Sandvik Mining and Construction DRC by forecasting inventory demand, managing strategic stock, and delivering operational performance reports. This role is essential to ensure optimal stock levels and efficient material flow within the mining operations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage stock, goods in transit, and OSMi within assigned stockrooms.
• Analyse and maintain inventory parameter settings for standard assortments.
• Oversee strategic stock planning and coordinate improvement activities with stakeholders.
• Drive stock optimisation initiatives, including returns processes, on a regular basis.
• Monitor stock distribution and adjust for optimal utilisation.
• Track critical spares and ensure alignment with end‑users and operational business partners.
• Align scheduling and communication with relevant internal teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience in inventory demand forecasting and stock management.
• Strong analytical abilities to interpret inventory data and drive optimisation.
• Ability to collaborate with cross‑functional stakeholders and coordinate improvement activities.
• Familiarity with mining or heavy‑industry environments is advantageous.
