Laboratory Coordinator (m/f)

About the role

The Laboratory Coordinator will lead on‑site laboratory testing activities, ensuring high‑quality results while managing both human and technical resources. The role focuses on maintaining equipment operability, organizing technical documentation, and fostering continuous improvement within the team.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate execution of laboratory tests on concrete, soils, bituminous mixtures, aggregates, binders and hydraulic materials.
• Manage laboratory staff, schedule work, and ensure optimal use of equipment.
• Maintain technical files and ensure compliance with the NA ISO 17025:2005 Quality Management System.
• Analyze test results, prepare test matrices and reports, and support decision‑making processes.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives and promote a results‑oriented culture.

Required profile

• 12th grade education and/or Bachelor’s degree in Geological or Geotechnical Engineering.
• Technical training in civil construction or geotechnical laboratory work.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in similar laboratory coordination roles.
• Fluency in French (required) and strong problem‑analysis abilities.
• Leadership, teamwork, initiative, rigor and reliability.

Required skills

• Proficiency in preparing test matrices and test reports.
• Knowledge of laboratory materials, equipment and testing procedures for concrete, soils, bituminous mixtures, aggregates, binders and hydraulics.
• Familiarity with ISO 17025:2005 quality standards.
• Advanced use of Microsoft Office tools.
