Liaison Officer

About the role

Starlite Aviation Group is seeking a reliable Liaison Officer to support operations in Central Africa. The role serves as the primary communication link between the client and the base team, ensuring smooth coordination and compliance with contractual and regulatory requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the official communication channel between the client and Starlite’s base team.
• Relay mission planning details, requests, and feedback to the Operations General Manager.
• Support logistics, scheduling, and documentation for operational demands.
• Ensure base readiness for flight operations, including crew briefings and contingency planning.
• Monitor compliance with local and SACAA aviation regulations and manage identified risks.

Required profile

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; French is a plus.
• Professionalism, discretion, cultural sensitivity, and ability to work under pressure.
• Experience in stakeholder engagement or client‑facing roles, preferably in aviation, humanitarian, or military/UN/EU operations.

Required skills

• Proficiency with email, Excel, Word, MS Teams, and reporting systems.
