Monitoring & Evaluation Officer (P)

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Monitoring & Evaluation Officer to support its programmes in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Reporting to the Chief of Mission and the Head of the Programme Support Unit, the officer will work closely with regional M&E and compliance officers to ensure robust monitoring and learning across projects.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain and update the overall project/programme monitoring and evaluation framework.
• Coordinate data collection, verification and analysis for all assigned activities.
• Prepare regular and ad‑hoc monitoring reports, dashboards and performance summaries.
• Facilitate learning workshops and recommend improvements to M&E processes.
• Collaborate with regional and headquarters units to ensure alignment with IOM standards.
• Support risk and compliance monitoring as required.

Required profile

• First‑tier candidates (internal staff or nationals from IOM member states not currently represented in professional categories) are given priority.
• Applicants should have experience in monitoring and evaluation within international development or migration contexts.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to work in a multicultural environment.
