Movement Operations Assistant (Field Support)

About the role

The Movement Operations Assistant provides essential field support for migration operations, ensuring safe and orderly travel for migrants and refugees at airports, transit centers, and other facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Perform airport services including document verification, escorting travelers, and handling special‑needs assistance.
• Assist individuals at transit centers and third‑party facilities with registration, orientation, distribution of supplies, and departure logistics.
• Coordinate transportation from consolidation points, manage baggage handling, and provide briefings for travelers.
• Maintain accurate data entry, uphold confidentiality, and report any issues to supervisors promptly.

Required profile

• High school diploma with at least 4 years of relevant work experience, or a Bachelor’s degree in Social Science, International Relations, Regional Studies or related field with 2 years of experience.
• Prior experience in movement operations or transportation is strongly preferred.
• Fluency in English and French (oral and written) is required.

Required skills

• Computer/software literacy with good knowledge of Microsoft Office.
