National Coordinator

About the role

UNIDO is recruiting a National Coordinator based in Kinshasa to lead the design phase of a public‑private development partnership between the Swedish International Development Agency (Sida), Volvo Group Global and UNIDO. The role focuses on assessing market needs and developing a project document for heavy‑duty industrial equipment and commercial vehicles in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor project implementation at field level, collect data, identify bottlenecks and propose solutions.
• Facilitate coordination and cooperation with counterpart organisations and other stakeholders.
• Lead regular coordination meetings, provide updates and brief partners on project activities.
• Support the preparation of interim and final donor reports and related documentation.
• Stay informed on national and regional development contexts, especially TVET, construction and mining programmes.
• Provide field‑level inputs for the market‑system‑development contract and the final project document.
• Track financial procedures, manage supplier invoices, request OCA/OCAFT and perform reconciliations.

Required profile

• Works under the supervision of the Project Manager and Allotment Holder.
• Collaborates closely with the UNIDO Kinshasa field office and the project team.
