Operational Information Management & Reports Consultant

About the role

The Operational Information Management & Reports Consultant will lead, oversee and coordinate all Operational Information Management (OIM) and Performance Reporting (PR) activities. This role ensures a standard and consistent operating picture of WFP operations, enabling informed and timely decision‑making across the organisation.

Key responsibilities

• Contribute to the development of systems and tools that support effective OIM, performance reporting and inter‑agency information management in line with WFP and UN policies.
• Provide technical advice, governance and oversight to regional or country offices on integrating OIM & PR policies into existing systems.
• Drive quality, consistency and standardisation of information management and performance reporting across WFP.
• Oversee and approve information collected from media and internal/external sources to maximise data flow between functional networks.

Required profile

• Experience leading and advising on OIM and performance reporting services for a specific geographical location.
• Ability to manage a small team of staff where required.
• Familiarity with UN and WFP policies related to information management.
