Partnerships Specialist (P-3) – Temporary, Kinshasa

About the role

The Partnerships Specialist will work under the Partnerships Manager to strengthen UNICEF’s resource mobilisation and reporting in the Democratic Republic of Congo during the Ebola response. The role focuses on securing and managing funding from public and private partners to support children and vulnerable communities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and submit funding proposals and manage grants throughout their lifecycle.
• Engage donors, cultivate relationships, and coordinate fundraising activities.
• Provide strategic advice on partnership opportunities and communication strategies.
• Support re‑programming of resources and ensure timely reporting to donors.

Required profile

• Advanced university degree in international relations, political science, communications, international development or a related field.
• Minimum five years of professional experience in partnership development, fundraising, donor engagement or related areas.
