Partnerships Specialist (P-3) – Temporary, Kinshasa

About the role

The Partnerships Specialist (P‑3) will support UNICEF’s country office in Kinshasa to strengthen resource mobilisation and partnership management during the ongoing Ebola response. Working under the Partnerships Manager, you will provide strategic advice, develop proposals and ensure effective donor engagement to secure and manage funding for vulnerable children and communities.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and submit high‑quality funding proposals and manage grant life‑cycles.
• Lead resource mobilisation activities, engage existing and potential donors from public and private sectors.
• Coordinate with humanitarian and health teams to align partnership strategies with the Ebola response.
• Maintain communication channels with partners, produce reports and ensure compliance with UNICEF standards.
• Support re‑programming of resources and provide technical guidance on partnership agreements.

Required profile

• Advanced university degree in international relations, political science, communications, international development or a related field.
• Minimum five years of professional experience in partnership development, fundraising, grant management or related humanitarian work.
• Demonstrated ability to work in complex, multi‑stakeholder environments and adapt to rapidly changing contexts.
