Premium Cash Assistant

About the role

Wave is building a cashless Africa and needs a reliable Premium Cash Assistant to support its agents and customers in the Democratic Republic of Congo. You will be the first point of contact, handling daily cash reconciliation and liquidity needs for premium agency locations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist nearby agents with cash deposits and withdrawals to meet liquidity requirements.
• Provide support on Wave’s products, account opening, app usage, and physical card inquiries.
• Maintain accurate daily reconciliation of premium points and record all cash transactions in the treasury system.
• Request and allocate sufficient funds to rebalance agent and client accounts.
• Report any discrepancies, challenges, or counterfeit bills to the Premium Cash Officer and leadership.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in cash management, reconciliation, liquidity management, or cash handling.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Strong proficiency in French; English and a local language are a plus.
• Previous front‑office customer service or banking experience.
• Highly vigilant, detail‑oriented, and possessing strong integrity.
