Project Coordinator

About the role

The Project Coordinator will support the Project Controls & PMO function by coordinating project governance, approval processes, reporting requirements and PMO activities across KCC's investment project portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and monitor compliance with project governance requirements, including approval processes and validation stages.
• Prepare and consolidate files for Steering Committee and other governance forums, tracking deadlines and submissions.
• Record decisions, actions and conditions of approval from governance meetings and ensure their implementation.
• Maintain PMO documentation, governance trackers and approval records up to date.
• Support portfolio reviews, audits and management information requests by preparing consolidated reports.

Required profile

• University degree in engineering, project management, finance, business analytics, information systems or related field.
• 3‑5 years of experience in PMO, project coordination, project governance or investment project management.
• Experience in mining or related industrial environment is an advantage.
• Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
• Experience with document management, action tracking and project reporting tools.
• Practical knowledge of SAP, SharePoint and Power BI (or similar project management systems) is advantageous.
