Dispatch Supervisor – Mining Operations

About the role

The Dispatch Supervisor reports to the Dispatch Engineer and is responsible for managing the Dispatch Center to maximise safety, fleet productivity and overall mining performance. The role involves real‑time production monitoring, equipment allocation and optimisation of material handling using advanced mining technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise daily Dispatch operations and ensure efficient use of the Modular Mining/FMS system.
• Oversee equipment allocation, transport sequences, production priorities and material movements.
• Monitor real‑time production to identify delays, inefficiencies and constraints, and implement corrective actions.
• Configure and maintain Dispatch system settings such as routes, constraints, priorities and equipment assignments.
• Produce daily, weekly and monthly operational reports for Production, Planning and Management.
• Lead, train and mentor the Dispatch team while ensuring compliance with safety and procedural standards.
• Coordinate with IT/OT, GPS, radio and network teams to maintain system availability and resolve hardware or software failures.

Required profile

• University degree in Mining, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering, Data Analytics, Information Systems or related field.
• At least five years of experience in mining operations, dispatch, fleet management or production control.
• Proven experience with Fleet Management Systems (FMS) and preferably Modular Mining DISPATCH.
• Strong understanding of open‑pit mining processes, loading, transport and unloading.
• Leadership experience supervising operational teams.
• Fluent French; English proficiency is an asset.
