Advisor – Load & Haul Breakdowns

About the role

The Advisor will provide specialized technical expertise for diagnosing and resolving faults in underground loading and haulage equipment, minimizing downtime and ensuring safe, efficient return to service.

Key responsibilities

• Diagnose complex failures in loaders, trucks and related equipment and identify root causes.
• Guide maintenance teams during major repairs, equipment recovery and major interventions.
• Verify repair quality through inspections, functional tests and safety checks before equipment is returned to service.
• Document breakdowns, causes, parts used and residual defects in SAP.
• Coordinate technical interventions with equipment manufacturers and provide feedback for future planning.

Required profile

• Degree or licence in mechanical, electrical or heavy‑equipment engineering, or equivalent professional experience.
• At least ten years of experience maintaining underground mobile mining or heavy industrial equipment.
• Proven experience with Sandvik and/or Caterpillar equipment and with SAP or a CMMS.
• Ability to supervise, train and develop maintenance staff.
