Project Manager – Consulting Projects

About the role

The Project Manager will lead consulting projects across the full project life‑cycle, from initiation to closure. The role focuses on engineering, science and environmental consulting activities such as mine engineering design, permitting, field investigations, desktop analyses and numerical modeling.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, execute, monitor and close low‑complexity consulting projects or phases of larger projects.
• Assemble and lead project teams, assign responsibilities and allocate resources.
• Develop project schedules, track progress and ensure timely delivery.
• Act as primary or secondary client contact, providing regular updates and guidance.
• Liaise with technical managers, internal accounting, and external stakeholders to manage risks and quality.
• Prepare and contribute to proposals, including development of the Return on Assignment (ROA).
• Maintain project documentation and inform the Project Director of status and issues.

Required profile

• Familiarity with project scope, objectives and team roles.
• Ability to coordinate activities, motivate teams and manage risks.
• Experience in engineering, science or environmental consulting projects.
• Strong communication skills for client and stakeholder interaction.
