Protection Officer – Case Management Team Leader

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Protection Officer to lead its Case Management Team. Reporting to the Chief of Mission, the Senior Protection Coordinator and directly supervised by the Migrant Protection Officer, the incumbent will ensure high‑quality individual protection assistance and case management for migrants and other vulnerable populations. Key responsibilities

• Support the implementation and monitoring of protection case management activities for migrants and vulnerable groups.
• Provide technical guidance and supervision to case management staff to maintain service quality.
• Ensure the delivery of quality case management services for vulnerable migrants.
• Contribute to the mainstreaming of protection across programme activities.
• Support the timely identification, assessment and referral of protection needs.

Required profile

• Works under the overall supervision of the Chief of Mission and the Senior Protection Coordinator, with direct supervision by the Migrant Protection Officer.
