PSEA Specialist

About the role

The PSEA Specialist will support the integration and implementation of Prevention of Sexual Exploitation and Abuse (PSEA) measures across UNICEF's Ebola response in the Beni‑Butembo axis of the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The role ensures safe, accountable and survivor‑centred programming in a complex humanitarian setting.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver PSEA training for UNICEF staff and partners.
• Support the integration of PSEA standards into partner activities and programmes.
• Disseminate contextualised PSEA awareness messages.
• Oversee PSEA‑related components in partner agreements.
• Represent UNICEF in inter‑agency, government and local coordination forums.
• Support community‑based complaints and feedback mechanisms.
• Ensure referral of SEA survivors to appropriate services.
• Strengthen reporting and accountability mechanisms.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in law, gender studies, social sciences, human rights or a related field.
• Minimum 4 years of relevant experience, preferably in humanitarian or emergency response settings (Level 2/3, Ebola preferred).
• Fluent French and working knowledge of English.
