Recruiter – People Team (Remote)

About the role

VillageReach is seeking a Recruiter to join its People Team and support the organization’s global growth. This remote position will work closely with hiring managers across multiple African offices to attract, assess, and hire high‑quality talent that aligns with the organization’s mission and DEIB values.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Talent Manager to manage end‑to‑end recruitment for current and future hiring needs.
• Collaborate with hiring managers to craft, refine, and update job descriptions.
• Publish job advertisements on relevant job boards, social networks, and recruitment platforms.
• Utilize best‑practice recruiting methods and innovative sourcing strategies to build a strong talent pipeline.
• Screen candidates, coordinate interviews, administer assessments, and oversee background checks.
• Provide regular updates and recommendations to hiring managers throughout the hiring process.

Required profile

• Proven experience in full‑cycle recruitment, preferably in a global or nonprofit setting.
• Strong understanding of industry standards and DEIB principles.
• Excellent collaboration skills and ability to work in a distributed, remote environment.
• Ability to anticipate hiring needs and act proactively.
