Regional Mpesa Sales & Distribution Manager

About the role

The Regional Mpesa Sales & Distribution Manager will lead sales activities and market management for Mpesa services across the assigned region. You will be responsible for ensuring brand visibility, cash availability, and high‑quality service delivery while supervising trade developers and distribution partners.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain product brand visibility throughout the region.
• Set and monitor call routines and performance targets for Trade Developers.
• Review agent and aggregator performance and conduct mystery‑shopping, brand and agent audits.
• Guarantee cash float levels at outlets meet defined standards.
• Resolve agent and customer issues within agreed SLA timeframes.
• Provide Trade Developers with necessary reports and tools and ensure execution of planned activities.
• Address disputes between agents and aggregators and supervise trade compliance.
• Manage distribution partners and banks, and coordinate with internal departments.
• Control daily liquidity, implement promotions, and oversee visibility deployment.
• Create and deploy new agents and walkers, and deliver regular management reports.

Required profile

• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Strong planning, organization and multitasking abilities.
• Customer‑focused and able to work under pressure.
• Bilingual in English (Level 4) and French (fluent).
• Attention to detail, good numeracy and analytical skills.
• Proven commercial or sales experience, preferably in mobile‑money or financial services.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Economics or a related field.
