Regional Operations Lead

About the role

The Regional Operations Lead will translate senior management vision into profitable, scalable field operations across multiple hubs in the region. Reporting to senior leadership, you will guide operational and commercial teams to expand market presence, ensure operational excellence, and achieve ambitious growth targets within the renewable energy sector.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional business plans that convert country‑level strategy into hub‑level actions, setting clear revenue, utilization and efficiency targets.
• Identify, build and launch new market entries and hub expansions, managing the full business case to profitable operation.
• Own the regional P&L, monitoring revenue and costs, and intervene early when performance deviates from plan.
• Standardise field processes, monitor hub performance, diagnose issues and implement corrective actions.
• Partner with logistics to optimise inventory, transport scheduling and product availability, reducing lag and costs.
• Oversee training programmes to ensure safety, customer service and process compliance across all field personnel.
• Coach and develop Team Leads and Hub Managers, fostering a high‑performance, safety‑first culture.
• Lead workforce and succession planning, anticipating leadership gaps and collaborating with HR to resolve people issues.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, Economics or a related field; MBA or advanced qualification is a plus.
• Minimum 5 + years of progressive experience, including 2–4 years in an operational or regional leadership role overseeing multi‑site, decentralized operations.
• Background in renewable energy, telecommunications, FMCG, logistics, mobility or another field‑intensive industry with a proven record of market expansion and hub launches.
• Strong strategic leadership and data‑driven decision‑making abilities.
