Reporting Officer

About the role

The Reporting Officer will support the USAID Mission in the Democratic Republic of Congo by producing high‑quality reports on Collaboration, Learning and Adapting (CLA) events. The role involves synthesising notes, translating materials, and designing visually engaging documents that meet USAID branding standards.

Key responsibilities

• Take comprehensive notes in English and/or French during CLA events.
• Synthesise key take‑aways and action plans into clear, concise reports.
• Design and incorporate infographics and visual elements to enhance report readability.
• Edit, format, and consolidate final reports for client approval.
• Translate event materials between French and English at a professional level.
• Transcribe verbal presentations and audio recordings.
• Incorporate feedback and edits from USAID reviewers.
• Organise event documentation in shared drives, ensuring version control and easy retrieval.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by the CLA Advisor, DCOP, or COP as needed.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and comprehension abilities for technical content.
• Excellent written communication skills in both English and French.
• Attention to detail and commitment to high‑quality deliverables.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines while maintaining confidentiality.
