About the role

The Field Operations Manager will lead and optimise all logistical, technical and infrastructure activities within Kundelungu National Park. Reporting directly to the Park Director, the role ensures continuous, efficient support services for conservation and community initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise daily field operations, including transport, equipment, and maintenance.
• Manage infrastructure projects, ensuring compliance with safety and environmental standards.
• Oversee logistics planning, procurement, and inventory control for park activities.
• Lead a multidisciplinary field team, providing guidance, training and performance monitoring.
• Collaborate with local authorities, partners and communities to align operational activities with conservation goals.
• Monitor budgets, prepare reports and recommend improvements for operational efficiency.

Required profile

• Relevant university degree (e.g., environmental management, engineering, logistics).
• Proven experience in managing field operations or logistics in remote or protected‑area settings.
• Strong organisational and leadership abilities.
• Fluency in French; English proficiency is an advantage.
