Sales Operations Officer

About the role

The Sales Operations Officer ensures the smooth execution of commercial activities in the assigned market by maintaining accurate sales data, reconciling stock, and supporting commission processes. This role acts as the operational bridge between field teams, systems, and central commercial functions, guaranteeing timely payments and reliable performance reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily end‑to‑end reconciliation of sales registrations, serial numbers, payments and system completeness.
• Investigate and resolve gaps or inconsistencies in collaboration with Business Intelligence, Customer Experience and field teams.
• Maintain trackers for reconciled and unreconciled sales in line with service level agreements.
• Monitor agent stock‑at‑hand (SAH), validate system stock against physical counts and follow up on discrepancies.
• Prepare and validate commission data, dashboards and eligibility before submission for approval.
• Support commission cut‑off enforcement and coordinate with Finance for timely processing.
• Analyse daily and weekly sales productivity, identify outliers and provide data‑backed insights to commercial leadership.
• Conduct at least three field visits per month to verify SOP adherence, stock handling and registration accuracy.
• Document field findings, update trackers and drive corrective actions.

Required profile

• Strong data discipline and attention to detail.
• Ability to engage with field teams and conduct regular on‑site visits.
• Effective cross‑functional coordination between commercial, finance and operations units.
