Sales Specialist – Mining & Contracting

About the role

We are looking for a Sales Specialist to lead the sales function for our quarry and contracting services. Based in the Haut‑Katanga region, you will travel regularly to Kolwezi, Lubumbashi and client sites, building a pipeline of aggregates and mining‑service contracts while managing a small sales team.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, qualify and pursue leads among mining companies, contractors and developers.
• Prepare quotes and tender documents, negotiate terms and close sales.
• Manage post‑sale accounts to secure repeat and long‑term supply contracts.
• Set revenue targets, coach and train the sales team, and monitor performance.
• Report pipeline status and results to senior management.
• Coordinate with quarry and operations teams to align production and delivery with sales commitments.
• Provide market and pricing intelligence to support business decisions.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience, preferably in aggregates, construction materials, mining services or heavy industry.
• Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and building pipelines from scratch.
• Experience selling to mining companies or contractors in the DRC or similar African markets is a strong advantage.
• Fluent in French and English.
• Willingness to travel regularly within Haut‑Katanga and Lualaba.
• Relevant diploma or degree in business, engineering or a related field is beneficial.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CRM systems and pipeline reporting.
