Senior Technician – Technical Team Leader

About the role

The Technical Team Leader is responsible for coordinating and executing maintenance activities for the mining fleet at BIA Group. This senior position ensures the productivity of the maintenance team while supporting the successful completion of tasks assigned by management.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive, predictive and curative repairs on mining equipment, following manufacturer guidelines.
• Execute scheduled maintenance, overhauls, diagnostics and emergency interventions.
• Prepare and manage work orders in line with departmental instructions.
• Maintain machines to manufacturer standards and document work using dedicated templates.
• Report anomalies proactively and ensure compliance with all procedures.
• Lead HSE toolbox talks, participate in risk studies, create SOPs, enforce LOTO and PPE usage.

Required profile

• Technical school graduate.
• Fluent in French and proficient in technical English.
• Significant experience in mining equipment maintenance (min TP required).
• Experience in a supervisory role is a plus.
