Site Electrician – Kamoa DRC

About the role

We are looking for a Site Electrician to join our mining operations at Kamoa in the Democratic Republic of Congo. The role involves delivering application, service and engineering support for our equipment, ensuring safe and reliable electrical systems on‑site.

Key responsibilities

• Perform day‑to‑day service, application, engineering and training activities within the assigned area.
• Act as the technical expert for electrical issues, providing troubleshooting and recommendations.
• Maintain accurate records of job progress, delays, problems, deliveries, changes, extras and costs.
• Serve as the primary interface with customers, reporting faults, findings and suggesting improvements.
• Prepare project reports that detail activities performed, faults identified and future service recommendations.
• Deliver training to internal or external stakeholders on maintenance and repair methods.

Required profile

• Proven experience in electrical maintenance and service in industrial or mining environments.
• Strong record‑keeping and reporting skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with customers and team members.
• Willingness to train and transfer knowledge to others.
