Software Engineer

About the role

VectorOne is seeking a Software Engineer to develop production features on its full‑stack platform that powers modern CFO office solutions. You will work within a backend‑for‑frontend architecture, delivering secure, high‑performance code while balancing AI‑assisted tools with sustainable engineering practices.

Key responsibilities

• Implement end‑to‑end feature slices in the BFF, including routes, schemas, validation, caching and error handling.
• Write clear, secure and high‑performance code within a backend‑for‑frontend architecture.
• Maintain a lean codebase by removing unnecessary dependencies and solving shallow problems directly in code.
• Collaborate with senior engineers to design system components, feature endpoints and CI/CD checks.
• Document trade‑offs and prioritize outcomes over abstractions.

Required profile

• Curious and fast‑learning software engineer who enjoys building production‑ready features.
• Comfortable balancing AI‑assisted coding tools with sustainable engineering practices.
• Detail‑oriented with a focus on delivering outcomes for the office‑of‑the‑CFO domain.

Required skills
