Superintendent – TSF Projects Infrastructure

About the role

The Superintendent for TSF Projects Infrastructure will lead the planning, coordination and execution of all infrastructure works related to Tailings Storage Facilities (TSF) at Kamoto Copper Company. Reporting to the Manager – TSF Construction, the incumbent ensures projects meet health, safety, environmental, quality, schedule and budget requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and manage execution plans, construction schedules, work packages and resource requirements for TSF infrastructure projects.
• Supervise construction of access roads, embankments, drainage, water management systems, pipelines, settling structures, spillways and related civil, mechanical and electrical works.
• Coordinate with engineering teams and external consultants to review designs, technical specifications and verify constructability.
• Monitor contractor and subcontractor performance on safety, quality, cost and timeline metrics, and coordinate daily construction activities.
• Track project expenditures against approved budgets, identify risks of cost or schedule overruns, analyse contractor claims and implement corrective actions.
• Promote and enforce health, safety and environmental standards throughout project execution.

Required profile

• Proven experience in planning and managing large‑scale civil infrastructure projects, preferably within mining or TSF environments.
• Strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations applicable to construction activities.
• Ability to lead multidisciplinary teams and manage multiple contractors simultaneously.
• Excellent analytical skills for cost control, risk identification and claim assessment.
