Supply & Logistics Manager (P-4) – Temporary Assignment

About the role

UNICEF is seeking a Supply & Logistics Manager to lead supply chain operations for its emergency response in Bunia. The role involves planning, procurement, customs clearance, warehousing, transport and distribution to support the Ebola response.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the Supply section, overseeing planning, procurement, contracting, customs clearance, warehousing, in‑country transport and distribution.
• Collaborate with programme teams and implementing partners to define and implement supply interventions that meet programmatic needs.
• Provide technical and advisory support to government and national systems on supply chain management, procurement and logistics.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (or equivalent) in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, International Development or related field.
• Minimum eight (8) years of relevant national and international experience in supply, logistics, procurement or contracting.
• Fluency in French and English; additional UN language or local language is an asset.
