Technical Program Manager – Digital Square DRC

About the role

PATH is seeking a short‑term Technical Program Manager consultant to support the Digital Square project in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. The role focuses on scaling a new USAID‑funded initiative that guides digital health initiatives to improve health system efficiency and disease outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Develop a detailed workplan for the USAID DRC Mission, ensuring compliance with USAID policy.
• Support project startup, including engagement with ANICiiS to prepare a capability assessment.
• Collaborate with ANICiiS leadership to identify and prioritize individuals for capacity‑building and governance training.
• Identify hardware and software needs for ANICiiS and support procurement and deployment.
• Facilitate consultative meetings with digital health stakeholders at all levels of the health system.
• Develop project management and reporting templates.
• Create a communication plan to keep stakeholders informed throughout implementation.

Required skills

• Master’s in business, information systems or related subjects.
• Knowledge of the digital health landscape in the DRC.
• Digital health experience in the DRC.
• Good facilitation skills with ability to communicate with technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Experience in development of digital health strategy or roadmap.
• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to establish good working relationships with people at all levels within and outside government.
