Workshop Component Rebuild Supervisor

About the role

Epiroc is seeking a hands‑on leader to oversee component repair and overhaul activities in its Kolwezi workshop. The role combines technical expertise with people management to ensure safety, quality and on‑time delivery of rebuilt equipment.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise technicians performing component overhauls and repairs, leading by example in critical repair, assembly and troubleshooting tasks.
• Allocate labour, tools and resources according to workshop priorities and monitor daily progress to meet planned completion dates.
• Conduct quality checks during assembly and perform final inspections before release.
• Maintain discipline, attendance and performance standards, and ensure housekeeping and workshop organization.
• Enforce all HSE standards, risk assessments and safe work procedures.

Required profile

• Strong technical knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and control systems.
• 8‑13 years of experience in a similar environment, including 2‑5 years in a supervisory position.
• Advanced Technical Certificate, H.E.R, or Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools, precision measuring equipment and technical documentation.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics and manuals.
