Area Sales Manager – Revenue & Customer Prioritization

About the role

The Area Sales Manager will oversee revenue analysis and customer prioritization within a defined geographic area for UPS. This role focuses on identifying highly profitable customers, investigating root causes of performance gaps, and driving actionable plans to meet revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Prioritize customers using standardized tools and information sources.
• Conduct detailed root‑cause investigations of client performance versus plans.
• Develop and implement specific action plans based on account behavior analysis.
• Analyze existing and potential revenue and profit across industry segments in the area.
• Maintain and track newly signed conversion and penetration customers on non‑standard incentive structures.
• Provide regular updates on material changes impacting the revenue base to Marketing, Business Planning, and Sales teams.
• Utilize standardized reports to monitor key performance indicators and identify gaps in plan performance.
• Recommend improvements to reporting formats and processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or international equivalent; Master's degree in Finance, Marketing, or related discipline preferred.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to investigate and interpret complex data.
