Business Development, Partnership and Reporting Manager

About the role

The Business Development, Partnership and Reporting (BDPR) Manager will support Mercy Corps’ Country Director and Director of Programs in Kinshasa, DRC. The role focuses on strategic positioning, fundraising, partnership development and donor compliance across Mercy Corps’ program portfolio in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and launch of new initiatives that align with Mercy Corps’ programmatic strategy.
• Identify, negotiate and manage partnerships with donors, NGOs, private sector and other stakeholders.
• Ensure donor representation, compliance and high‑quality reporting for all active and future programmes.
• Support strategic fundraising efforts and contribute to the expansion of the organisation’s portfolio.
• Coordinate with senior management, programme leads, field teams, communications, support services, HQ and regional offices to provide holistic oversight.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development, partnership management or fundraising within the humanitarian or development sector.
• Strong understanding of donor compliance requirements and reporting standards.
• Ability to work closely with senior leadership and multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
