Co‑creation Consultant (STTA) for USAID DRC

About the role

The USAID/DRC Mission, through the Mission Strategic Support Program (MSSP), seeks a short‑term technical assistance (STTA) consultant to strengthen co‑creation processes with local partners. The consultant will work closely with MSSP and USAID staff to design, facilitate, and deliver capacity‑building activities that enhance collaborative development efforts in the Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Key responsibilities

• Organize and lead a peer‑to‑peer sharing workshop, including agenda design and facilitation planning.
• Conduct a desk review of existing USAID co‑creation resources to identify gaps.
• Develop a comprehensive capacity‑strengthening plan based on review findings and workshop outcomes.
• Deliver the capacity‑strengthening plan through workshops, trainings, and coaching sessions for USAID staff.
• Create practical, user‑friendly tools and templates for various co‑creation formats (competitive, virtual, multi‑stakeholder).

Required profile

• Proven experience facilitating workshops and peer‑to‑peer knowledge‑sharing sessions.
• Ability to conduct desk reviews and synthesize findings into actionable plans.
• Experience designing and delivering capacity‑building interventions in an international development context.
• Strong communication skills to work collaboratively with USAID staff and local partners.
