DC Professional – Outbound Operations & Free Product Management

About the role

The DC Professional leads outbound operational processes, ensuring timely and accurate shipments from the distribution centre to points of sale. The role acts as the primary contact for all shipping‑related matters and oversees inventory adjustments, delivery coordination, and free‑product initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and classify Office Requests orders from multiple departments via order tool and email.
• Plan and execute daily outbound shipments according to schedule, updating order details and quantities.
• Manage inventory adjustments and write‑offs, ensuring required approvals and accurate financial reporting.
• Control daily pick‑up schedules, coordinate vehicle allocation, and verify outbound shipping volumes.
• Communicate shipment data to delivery companies, create shipment detail lists, and address delivery issues.
• Handle staff purchase, wedding free‑product orders, and quarterly FBP free‑product processes, including item availability checks with the marketing team.
• Lead monthly meetings with delivery vendors to review service levels and costs.
• Support weekly cycle counts, annual full counts, and prepare monthly KPI reports.
• Check inventory discrepancies between WMS and AGV systems and assist in budget planning for delivery costs.

Required profile

• Proven experience in outbound logistics and inventory management.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines.
• Familiarity with documentation standards and regional/local shipping guidelines.
