Freight Officer – Consolidation & Pricing

About the role

UPS is seeking a Consolidation Freight Officer to manage pricing, consolidation, and communication for air shipments. The role involves coordinating with airlines, service providers, and internal teams to ensure smooth cargo movement and resolve any service issues.

Key responsibilities

• Communicate and consolidate booking requests with airlines according to customer SOPs.
• Verify compliance with airline and destination regulations when arranging shipments.
• Utilize internal operations systems to process booking requests across functions.
• Coordinate with trucking vendors, airport terminals, and airline agents.
• Track cargo, handling damage, delays, missing items, and other service issues.
• Manage pricing and quotation requests with airlines and internal stakeholders.

Required profile

• College graduate; a degree in International Trade is preferred.
• 3‑5 years of experience in trading, forwarding, or related logistics functions.
• Strong interpersonal, coordination, and communication abilities.
• Positive, proactive “can‑do” attitude.
• Fluent in English (speaking, writing, reading, listening).

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
