Head of Digital, VAS & Devices

About the role

Vodafone is seeking a senior leader to define and drive the digital services, value‑added services (VAS) and device ecosystem strategy for Vodacom DRC. The role will shape an integrated digital and device portfolio, boost revenue, and position the company as a leading digital lifestyle platform in the DRC market.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute the Digital, VAS & Devices strategy aligned with Vodacom’s digital transformation agenda.
• Lead the development of an integrated ecosystem that combines content, services, devices, payments and lifestyle platforms.
• Identify new growth opportunities across digital services, smart devices and emerging technologies such as AI, gaming, ed‑tech, health‑tech and the creator economy.
• Oversee the full lifecycle of digital content platforms (video, music, gaming), education, health and lifestyle services, digital advertising, e‑commerce integrations and consumer devices.
• Define and optimise monetisation models including subscriptions, bundled data & device offers, freemium, transactional and advertising‑supported services.
• Lead the commercial strategy and roadmap of the Vodacom Super App, positioning it as the central digital lifestyle hub.
• Define and track KPIs such as MAU, engagement, in‑app revenue, service and device adoption, and digital revenue linked to network monetisation.
• Drive digital revenue growth, link device usage to data consumption growth and ARPU uplift, and support upsell and cross‑sell opportunities.

Required profile

• Senior Management (TW13) band.
• Proven experience in defining and executing digital and device strategies.
• Ability to lead cross‑functional teams and manage partnerships with global and local digital players.
