Monitoring Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Manager – Ebola Response

About the role

The Monitoring Evaluation and Learning (MEL) Manager will lead MEL activities for Mercy Corps' Ebola response in Bunia, Ituri Province, DRC. This full‑time position is pending funding approval and supports the Integrated Ebola Response Driven by Communities (IERDC) consortium.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement monitoring, evaluation and learning frameworks for the Ebola response.
• Oversee data collection, analysis and reporting across focus areas such as risk communication, community surveillance, infection prevention and control, WASH, and continuity of services.
• Coordinate with consortium partners to ensure data‑driven decision‑making and timely sharing of findings.
• Integrate safeguarding, gender equality, social inclusion and conflict‑sensitivity considerations into MEL processes.
• Provide evidence‑based recommendations to inform program adjustments and funding decisions.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in monitoring, evaluation and learning, preferably in humanitarian or health emergencies.
• Ability to work in a high‑risk environment and manage sensitive data.
• Strong analytical and reporting skills.
