Senior Structural Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Senior Structural Engineer who can work independently and lead complex projects within a multidisciplinary consulting environment. The role involves delivering high‑quality structural designs, managing small design teams, and ensuring compliance with our ISO quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Design and manage structural engineering projects, focusing on reinforced concrete and steel structures.
• Deliver projects using a modern BIM workflow, operating Revit models and cloud‑based platforms.
• Prepare paper‑less structural schemes and provide accurate element estimates, construction methods, and cost considerations.
• Lead and monitor small design teams to meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Coordinate with clients, project teams, and senior leadership on finance, resources, and health & safety performance.

Required profile

• BSc (Hons) in Structural Engineering; MEng/MSc is advantageous.
• Minimum 7 years of structural engineering experience, preferably with civil engineering exposure.
• Registered as a Professional Engineer (PrEng) with ECS.
• Project management experience is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency in BIM software (Revit, CAD).
• Experience with Prokon design software.
• Knowledge of finite‑element tools such as SAFE, ETABS, Robot.
• Advanced Excel programming and MS Office suite.
• Familiarity with visual programming and parametric design tools (Rhino, Grasshopper).
