Head of Enterprise & Consumer Business

About the role

The Head of Enterprise & Consumer Business for the Eastern DRC will lead the commercial performance of both the SME enterprise connectivity segment and the residential home‑internet segment. Reporting to the Regional Managing Director – East Africa, the role is responsible for revenue growth, market share, customer acquisition and experience across both lines of business.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute a regional commercial strategy aligned with BCS Group’s East Africa objectives.
• Grow the SME connectivity portfolio (dedicated internet, fiber, leased lines, cloud and managed services) as a primary revenue engine.
• Expand the home‑internet customer base through fiber and fixed‑wireless deployments in target neighborhoods and underserved areas.
• Identify new market opportunities, underserved segments and additional revenue streams.
• Lead direct sales, account‑management and channel‑partner teams to achieve regional sales and revenue targets.
• Implement a structured SME sales engine covering hunting, farming and key‑account coverage with disciplined pipeline management.
• Drive ARPU/ARPA growth, reduce churn and increase upsell/cross‑sell across both enterprise and consumer customers.
• Provide accurate forecasting, pipeline visibility and commercial input into network rollout priorities.

Required profile

• Proven commercial leadership experience in telecom, ISP or enterprise connectivity markets, preferably in emerging economies.
• Strong track record of managing high‑volume consumer channels such as FMCG, banking or digital financial services.
• Demonstrated ability to build and lead diverse sales and account‑management teams.
• Deep understanding of East African market dynamics and willingness to relocate to the Eastern DRC.
• Excellent strategic thinking, analytical and stakeholder‑management capabilities.
